In the past I've spoken of my feeling that we need to give recruiters some guidance about the Perl community and to assist them in their job of finding qualified candidates. Over time that's lead me to draft a version of this document (spoke of in this blog post).
One comment given was that it would be better if this document lived in Github, rather than Google docs. I have move the project and you can find it here. I've also taken advantage of Github's built in project page feature to create a branch of the project containing an html version, which you can preview here. Its not pretty, but it might be easier for people to find who just want to read it, while we are trying to figure out where to put it.
Now that its on github in POD, feel free to fork and send me pull requests, open issues etc. In the meantime I will continue to work on finding a more permanent home to the canonical published version. In the meantime feel free to share this with recruiters you know. Lets get some feedback and try to start making recruiters a stronger part of the greater Perl community.
