As we try to start narrowing down our goals for the next Perl Catalyst development cycle, I've organized a big list over on Questhub, which you can see here:
http://questhub.io/realm/perl/explore/latest/tag/catalyst
The list has a nice mix of larger and smaller tasks (although I think all of them are doable in the 2 month development cycle, expect for the prototypes, which are just here to facilitate longer term discussion), and there are tasks of different types, from basic refactors to next features and general code cleanup. So I think its a list that should have wide possible appeal and interest.
Questhub makes it TRIVIAL to contribute to the conversation that will shape these tasks and help prioritize them against our limited development budget. So I invite you to come over and have your voice heard, if only to do an up vote of something you like.
For the next development cycle, lets try doing TRIAL style releases as tasks are completed and ready fro wider testing. This should meet the dual goal of giving contributors 'immediate gratification' by seeing their hard work published as well as reduce the possibility for regressions.
Enjoy the weekend all, and don't forget to follow the questhub link and check out the exciting and/or scary things we might do to Catalyst in the coming months!
